Scuderia AlphaTauri is pleased to announce a special one-off event partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., bringing the GUNDAM franchise to the Formula 1® grid for the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix. Throughout the week, Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo will showcase Gundam decals of the RX-78-2 GUNDAM and XVX-016 GUNDAM Aerial on the headrests of the AT04 as they battle for points around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit ™. 

The partnership with Bandai Namco’s GUNDAM brand goes beyond traditional Formula 1® sponsorships and includes exciting activations at the Las Vegas Grand Prix that are sure to be memorable for fans. In addition to the decals on the racing cars, fans will be able to experience nearly ten-foot tall GUNDAM statues on display around the team’s facilities, as well as a promotional video with driver Yuki Tsunoda in an iconic GUNDAM-inspired racing suit. Also commemorating the partnership is a unique, custom-designed Perfect-Grade Unleashed model of the Mobile Suit RX-78-2 GUNDAM with exclusive Scuderia AlphaTauri decals and colours (for display only). All new GUNDAM features for the event in Las Vegas, including RX-78-2 and Yuki Tsunoda artwork inspired by Scuderia AlphaTauri, have been created as well. For the race weekend, two GUNDAM BASE POP-UP Stores will be available by Elara by Hilton and The Park by MGM, around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit™ area.
