Variations:
There are two versions of long haul. The first version of Long Haul had a square hole in the center of the grill for the dumptruck. This was designed to accomodate the connetion of the "Super Wing" (Devastator Chestplate) that came packaged with Long Hauls compatriot, Scrapper. This square hole was used for the original Diaclone release of the constructicons prior to the 1980s "transformers" line. This hole was filled in in later waves of the constructicons as the "super wing" accessory was retooled to instead combine with Long Hauls compatriot, Hook, when the team of six are combined as Devastator, thus more securely holding Hook in a more solid position. At this time I am not aware of a "super wing" for the Transformers release of the constructions that would connect with the Long Haul grill.
简单来说有开口的是从“Diaclone”时代来，为插胸口那大飞翼的设计，后来因为G1的胸口那大飞翼重新设计了，G1的新版本就取消了开口。
