Aliens and action figure fans had been hoping to see fan favorite character Newt join the line up. When the character was announced as a San Diego Comic-Con 2016 Exclusive, many were fairly disappointed. however, since before San Diego Comic-Con 2016, NECA has been saying they were working on a “Plan-B” for Aliens fans who couldn’t attend the show. It looks like patience will pay off. They have posted photos showing Newt with Ellen Ripley, who is sporting a new, “concerned” head sculpt.

Continuing the Aliens 30th anniversary celebration, NECA presents a special edition action figure 2-pack that recreates the movie’s classic poster! That iconic image of Ripley rescuing Newt appears on the front flap of the deluxe packaging; open the flap and the figures are posed in the box just as they appear on the poster.
Ripley stands approximately 7” tall and features a new head sculpt and new deco, both exclusive to this set. She comes with a flamethrower accessory that has a special “fire effect” attachment. Newt stands approximately 5” tall. Both feature authorized likenesses and have over 25 points of articulation for dramatic poses. A great display piece both in and out of the box!
